Daisy Lane Starter Card

Daisy Lane Step-it-Up!If you are new to stamping, this sweet little card is a great way to start. Far left card: Stampin’ Up!’s Basic White heavy cardstock is the base. The base card is an 8-1/2”x11” cardstock, cut in half and folded to 4-1/4”x5-1/2”. I used a 1”x4-1/4” piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, and a 4”x5” piece of Petal Pink cardstock for the daisy. I like plump little daisies, so I punched 3 medium daisies, and stacked them up. For the center card, I was mimicking the Gerbera Daisy above, and wanted a pop of green. I stamped the daisy with pear pizzazz on a small piece of cardstock, and used a 3/8” circle punch. You can easily cut the center out with scissors too. Glue down your daisy or add a Stampin dimensionals to make it pop out. I then stamped the “Smile” sentiment for a simple finish. Above middle card: To step it up, I used the Daisy Lane fern stamp on the bottom 3” of a piece of 4”x5-1/4” regular Basic white cardstock with the pear pizzazz ink. I then stamped the daisies with petal pink ink to get a little more definition to the petals. Then you just repeat the above instructions. Far right card: To add more pop, I used a 4”x5-1/4” piece of Calypso Coral, and my white piece was 3-3/4”x5”. I used Calypso Coral ink to stamp the daisy, and added 3 gold metallic pearls to add that subtle bling.
